*~Psalm 151~*
Take away evil from the world,
What have you got?
The few faithful followers of the Lord.
Evil is dominant.
But follow the Lord,
And you shall be free.
To keep faith in something you cannot see,
Is more powerful than anything
Known to mankind.
*~Alone~*
The cold air blows,
As you stand in your place,
Your heartbeats pounding,
As if life were a race.
Nothingness haunts you,
Its there before your eyes,
Shadows are aproaching,
Yet your only light dies.
Now you're all alone,
Not a friend nor a foe,
Are left to protect you,
On this long winding road.
The cold air blows,
As you stand in your place,
Your heartbeats pounding,
As if life were a race.
*~Don't Worry~*
Shadows sulk in the darkness,
And hope shines in the light,
Hold tightly onto your wishes,
Oneday It'll be alright.
*~Lost At War~*
A mother cries,
For her only son,
As he cries in the rain on his own.
All he wanted was peace,
But noone would give,
And now hes so far from home.
A soldier outside,
But at heart just a kid,
And he, he wasn't ready to go,
But the government sucks,
They just wanted a ruck,
And now its the end of his show.
So where did war get us?
Gimmie a clue,
It got us nowhere,
Cause still nothing is new,
We're fighting for the best,
So the best must be bad,
Wrapped up and obsessed with this,
Its really kinda sad.
*~Mirrored~*
As the sun comes up,
My mirrored day begins,
Just the same as any other,
And I know I still won't win,
As the sun comes up my mirrored day begins.
Again I'll get the blame,
Always me it seems,
Am I guilty?
Or are there two of me?
Guess I've been mirrored,
My reflection out to get me,
I know its crazy,
But somebody gotta believe me.
As the sun comes up,
My mirrored day begins,
Just the same as any other,
And I know I still won't win.
As the sun comes up my mirrored day begins.
*~On The Mountain~*
As I stand on this rocky edge,
With the cold wind in my face,
I realise no one I know,
Could ever take your place.
The moon stares at the water,
And the water steals its shine,
The stars are twinkling up above,
So tonight, Woncha be mine?
*~Driven~*
I've been driven to the edge of insainity,
I've gone mad because you're here,
Can't reach back down to Earth,
And these words are so sencere.
*~Anger Inside~*
With your fists clenched,
And with your eyes stingin',
Burnin' inside,
And your ears are ringin'.
You wanna try and carry on,
But you dunno what to do,
No way nobody on this Earth,
Could ever get you through.
Anger takes its place within,
So empty yet so full,
Theres no escape,
No where to hide,
Don't let go, don't you fall.
Your head is pounding,
Your eyes are sore,
You've cried the sea you're sitting in,
And you can't see the shore.
*~Locked In~*
Trapped in a slum,
And locked in this room,
Can't find no freedom,
And can't find my home.
Kept from the daylight,
Kept from the world,
Must be a nightmare,
Where my freedom was sold.
*~Another War~*
Theres a mother crying out,
She screams in her prayers,
She wants to know why,
Her only son has died.
Her daughter cries, and they can't sleep at night.
In the fields,
Another war to fight,
Theres no regard for life,
With all this genocide,
No hope to make things right,
Just want to make things right.
Choosing death over innocent life,
Hearing the echos of youth lost at war,
Their souls haunt the survivors,
Asking for their souls to be saved.
Then, another mothers heart is torn,
Her only child, when he was born,
She had plans for him,
But now they've been washed away,
By the blood of a whole nation.
*~For Shaddow~*
Although hes gone,
N' I'll move on,
I'll still love him forever.
I held out through the bullshit,
Stood by you in the dark,
I laughed with you in summer,
I ignored all their remarks.
They told me you were lying,
Told me we'd never last,
Even though you're gone now,
I still see our sparks.
The time we had was special,
The memories they won't fade,
The days, the nights, the hours,
The enimies that we made.
The looks that we were given,
To me they went unseen,
I had you, and I was happy,
To me just like a dream.
But when you died,
I mourned so bad,
I cried a thousand seas,
You're not even in a better place,
And now I'm on my knees.
These tears of blood,
They blind me,
For us I still fight,
Echos of your last words repeat,
Solong and goodnight.
Although he gone,
And I'll move on,
I'll still love him forever.
*~Living Curse~*
Caught up with what I lost,
Lost sight of what I'd found,
Gone back to my old ways once again,
Feeling as though I'm drowned.
My tears are nothing,
Those around me cry,
I'm a curse to those I love,
I just wat to know why.
*~The Truth~*
Sitting beneath this willow tree,
I think about the world.
So much beauty, yet so much evil.
Why does mankind believe they can solve violence with violence?
What is a peaceful war?
Why kill our own kind because we're so different?
Governments make soldiers out of savillians, and send them out to battlefields, to slaughter
their brothers.
And not stop untill they're lying amoungst thousands of corpses, choking on their own blood,
and staring into the cold dead eyes of their neighbour.
Then they send bombs to the homes and famillies of these soldiers.
The darkness of the night means the approach of distant kin, readying their souls for more murder.
Genocide.
To kill people so different, yet exactly the same as them.
Why?
Because they were told that their brothers and sisters were evil.
But we are all evil.
Noone is innocent, Nobody is pure.
But we are all in this,
Together.
